Let the monster hunt begin!
A brand-new free family adventure is arriving this spring with the launch of our fantastic Mindful Monsters Trail.
Inspired by the popular Mindful Monsters children’s books by Kiersten Ward, our new colourful trail invites families to set off on a monster hunt around the centre!
To take part, young explorers can pick up a free trail sheet from Guest Services before setting off to spot the eight hidden characters. Along the way, each monster shares a message about kindness, friendship and happiness.
Keep an eye out for Honest Dorris, the friendly 4ft-tall monster statue at the heart of the trail, and don’t forget to stop by the monster selfie bench to capture your adventure. Once you’ve completed the trail, return your sheet to Guest Services to receive a gift.
The permanent trail launches at the end of March, making it the perfect activity for families visiting during the Easter holidays.
To celebrate the launch, we’ll also be welcoming Mindful Monsters author Kiersten Ward for a special storytelling event on Tuesday 7th April, where families can enjoy live story sessions and meet the creator behind the monsters.
