We’re paw-fficially the UK’s most dog-friendly shopping centre for the second year running
Clarks Village has once again scooped the tail-wagging title at the DogFriendly Awards 2025, following a public vote to find the nation’s favourite dog-friendly venues.
The DogFriendly Awards recognise and reward dog-friendly places and pet businesses that go the extra mile for the UK’s 12.5 million dogs and their owners.
After being nominated for the award for the second consecutive year, we retained our top-dog rating of ‘five-paws’ and won the public vote to fetch home the Dog-Friendly Shopping Centre Award at a ceremony held at the Kennel Club Head Office in London.
Dogs are given a warm welcome at Clarks Village, with plenty of outdoor space to explore, wide paved walkways and lush landscaped gardens. Pooches are welcome in many of the outlet’s 90+ high street and designer brands, from Rituals and Radley to Levi’s and TOG24.
Canine companions can refresh at Le Creuset dog bowl water stations and enjoy plenty of in-store treats while shopping and dining with their owners. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in The Cornish Bakery, Caffè Nero, Costa and Bill’s – which even offers a dedicated doggo menu – as well within outdoor dining spaces at wagamama, Pret A Manger, Prezzo, and Slim Chickens.
The award was proudly presented to our newest furry team member, Archie, along with his owners Beth and Adam. The one-year-old golden miniature dachshund is our bone-a-fide CEO – Canine Executive Officer that is.
Archie won the coveted role in a pet paw-trait competition held during Clarks Village’s dog-celebratory Pawsome Pooch weekend. The annual event sees a dog takeover at Clarks Village and is guaranteed to get tails wagging, with free pet photo shoots, pooch pampering, dazzling dog trick displays, have-a-go agility sessions, live paw-trait illustrations, and a pet pick ‘n’ mix.
