Say hello to our new top dog!

Meet Archie – the golden miniature dachshund who’s just landed the prestigious role of Canine Executive Officer (CEO) here at Clarks Village.

The 11-month-old pup stole the hearts of our visitors after entering our annual Pawsome Pooch competition. Our judges had a ruff job narrowing down more than 300 entries to a shortlist of ten, which were then put to a public vote on our social channels. Archie soared to the top spot to claim the title.

Archie is the much-loved pup of proud owners Beth Evans, 25, and her partner Adam, 29. The couple live in nearby Cheddar and are regular visitors to Clarks Village. They brought home Archie, their first dog, in January after an 18-month search for the perfect pup.

At less than a year old, Archie – who has his own Instagram account
– is not only taking on his first job as CEO, but also has big ambitions ahead. Beth hopes to train him as a therapy dog, thanks to his special talent for comforting people.

Archie will be officially crowned our new CEO at a paw-ficial visit to Clarks Village later in October, taking the lead from Dudley, a three-legged Hungarian Vizsla rescue dog – and scampering away with a prize package worth £500.
