Visiting the Area?Clarks Village at Street in Somerset provides an ideal base from which to explore the West Country. Surrounded by classic English countryside of gently rolling hills and character full market towns, the West Country is at the centre of England’s most ancient history. Glastonbury with its abbey and tor has long been linked with the legends of King Arthur – his tomb is reputed to be there and the Chalice Well links Arthur with the legend of Joseph of Arimethea and the quest for the Holy Grail.
